Last Thursday we – a raucous crowd of Salt authors – descended upon London’s most seductive members’ club to raise money for the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal. Such was the power of our poetic revelry that an extraordinary sum of over £10k was manifested.
I’ll be reading from Dreamtime at BookJam on Monday 22nd November, at 8pm – back at their regular venue the Hootananny in Brixton for their first in-person show since March 2020! Contributors include: Martin Millar, Rosie Wilby, Anna Mazzola, James Benmore, Dave McGowan, Jennie Ensor and Zelda Rhiando.
On Monday 15th November, 7-8pm, fellow Salt author Alison Moore and I will be launching our new novels and The Retreat and Dreamtime in an online event by Five Leaves Bookshop. Details/booking here.

I’ll be reading my essay The Art of Lost Sleep at the launch of TRAUMA at David Collard’s Carthorse Orchestra on Saturday 16th January. Editors Sam Mills and Thom Cuell will be in conversation and there will be readings from Marina Benjamin, Monique Roffey, David Lynch, Rhiannon L Cosslett, Christiana Spens, Susanna Crossman, Neil Griffiths and Azad Ashim Sharma.
